The Quality Checking by Using Visual Inspection for Cap Detection is a project interfacing the hardware and the software by using image processing as a major area of study. The method using in this project is by using Region of Interest method which is the collection of data needed of an image is stored and compared to the real time image. The input used for this project is analog camera with black and white color. The product carried by a conveyor into the inspection zone. At the inspection zone, the camera acquires the real time image then processed it in appropriate software used which is Vision Builder Software. Trigger added to this project to analyze the presence of the product and give a pulse to the software used to be processed. This system processed simultaneously and locates the data of the product condition into two conditions whether it is pass or defect. The pass condition means the bottle is capped while defect means uncapped. The Graphical User Interface created to ease the user to understand the system.
