| Abstract: |
Currently, underwater vehicles fall into categories that manned underwater vehicles and unmanned underwater vehicles. Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) fall into categories of unmanned underwater vehicles. ROV system come in three basic categories that observation class, work class and special use.ROV is the commen accepted name for tethered underwater robots in the offshore industry. Simplistically, an ROV is a camera mounted in a waterproof enclosure, with thrusters for maneuvering, attached to a cable to surfaceover which a video signal is transmitted. In this project is only focusing of observation class ROV. The various sizes of observation class of ROV system have within them certain inherent performance capabilities. The small size of ROV uses for internal wreck survey. ROV frame must be consired to counteract the negative buoyancy effect.Syntactic foam is often used for the flotation. Besides ROV frame, propulsion system is considered to have suitable thrust to physical size and power input ratios. Controller system also is consired for ROV navigating.
